What is Mirror Coating

Wiley X Europe offers several different mirror coatings for sunglasses both with and without prescription lenses. Mirror coatings are pure looks, it has no visual effect when using the glasses, and it is individually what people prefer. Read more about the different mirror coatings below.
Silver Flash
Silver Flash is a weak mirror, where it is possible to catch a glimpse of the eyes through the lenses. The Silver Flash is not available with prescription lenses.
WX Mirror
WX Mirror is an intense mirror coating, which works as a mirror image and you cannot see the eyes of the beholder. This coating is not available with prescription lenses.
Soft Mirror
Soft Mirror is developed by our prescription lens manufacturer SHAMIR, and it is a combination between the Silver Flash and WX Mirror with an inclination to Silver Flash.
Soft Mirror comes in four different colors: Bronze/Gold, Silver, Blue and Emerald Green and it is only available with prescription eyewear.
