Wiley X can now offer 4 different types of transition lenses
Transition 6
Available in color changing grey and brown
There is no residual color in the lenses, it is 100% clear again when it lightens
Affected by direct UV light. It does not change through a car’s windshield.
Transition XTRactive
Available in gray.
There is a small residual color in the lenses, There is a 5% gray color back into the glass when it lightens up.
Affected by visible light, it will change through a car’s windshield.
Transition SOLFX
Available in 4 different colors (see illustration below)
The glass is naturally 30% color and becomes darker as the exposure.
Affected by direct UV light, it does not change through a car’s windshield.
Photocromic polarized
Delivered only in one color and it is a greenish-brown color.
It is a lens, which at non-activated state, is about 50-60% of absorption, and it darkens when exposed to UV light.
The glass is different from all other lenses transition on the market and the big difference is this glass is also polarized.
