The reason to that Glacier Plus is so extraordinarily good, is its improved and even harder surface treatment. Bayer Ratio test, conducted at NSL and Colts Laboratories showed that Glacier Plus is 20-30% stronger than its nearest competitor (measured hardness of approx. 18).
This new hard coating system from Shamir has showen it self to be 3.5 times higher in resistance compared with the market standard, and therefore provides high scratch protection and therefore ensures andhelps to a greater durability and lifetime of the RX lenses.
